Who is Ethan Blackstone?

September 5, 2012 by Raine Miller 9 Comments

Okay, I admit it.  I used him.  And he’s good right?  My muse for Ethan Blackstone in Naked, The Blackstone Affair Part 1 is none other than male supermodel, David Gandy.  I make it easy for readers to figure this out too.  His description is pretty clear to anyone who knows who this man is.  And surprise, surprise…he is British!  Read the blurb on the cover of Live magazine and you will know why he is so famous.  “The world’s only male supermodel” and for very good reason.  Just look at him!

So now that the hero is out of the bag I will get back to writing more on The Blackstone Affair, Part 2–All In.  Mr. Blackstone has some  work to do.  *snickers*

What an excellent inspiration you have used! David Gandy is not only a very handsome man, but intelligent, witty and caring. Fans might enjoy his Vogue blog as well as his official page where he posts the latest pictures, links and updates: http://www.facebook.com/OfficialDavidGandy

Here I am in nasty covid-driven 2020, looking for new/old things to read — & just found this wonderful book I somehow missed. As soon as I got to his sideways smile in the Gallery & the blue eyes, a particular photo of the beloved David Gandy came into my head — and then I had to check my DG phone photo gallery to make sure. Ah god, yes it was him. He had to have been your model. And now I’m so happy to know it is — cos no one else will do! xxx

Yes, he most certainly was my muse in my head as I started to write book 1 of Blackstone Affair. I’d followed him as a model and loved his pictures for about 2 years before I wrote the book. He is the perfect muse for Ethan Blackstone. Still is.
